Further Machinery Investment for Agentdraw

Leading Leicestershire-based manufacturer Agentdraw recently took delivery of a new 50-tonne ENGEL Victory injection moulding machine, increasing its manufacturing capacity and total tonnage range following a successful 2023.

Agentdraw offers a complete injection moulding manufacturing service from its site in Leicestershire. It supports its customers worldwide with a comprehensive service offering, including product design support, prototyping, testing, validation, moulding, tooling, finishing and assembly.

The company has been a prominent figure in the UK injection moulding sector for many years, celebrating 30 years of successful business in 2021. Agentdraw works with many household names such as Dyson, GlaxoSmithKline, JLR, 3M, AstraZeneca, Coca-Cola and Nokia.

Darren Parsons, Agentdraw’s managing director, comments: “We’re delighted to continue our investment programme following a very successful period for the company. Our new ENGEL moulding machine increases our capacity in the lower tonnage ranges, offering more flexibility to our customers and smaller component projects.”

“With this expanded capacity, Agentdraw is even better placed to fulfil a wide range of complex and comprehensive moulding projects in 2024.”

The e-victory machine from ENGEL is a compact tie-bar-less injection moulding machine, complementing Agentdraw’s existing machinery suite as the new lowest tonnage machine at 500kN. Fitted with the latest energy-saving servo-hydraulic technology, the e-victory maintains low power and water-cooling requirements while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and precision, perfectly aligning with Agentdraw’s manufacturing ethos.

The new machinery delivery is the latest in a programme of investment at the Midlands-based plastics processor, with further investment to be announced over the coming months.
