Matrix Polymers Celebrates 30th Anniversary

In January, Matrix Polymers, a supplier of raw materials to the rotomoulding industry, celebrated 30 years in business. Thanks to innovative material solutions, expansion within emerging countries, and targeted acquisitions, the company has gone from strength to strength.

Established in January 1992, Matrix Polymers has grown organically and by acquisitions to become one of the world’s leading suppliers of raw materials to the rotomoulding industry. Managing Director Martin Coles co-founded the company just over 30 years ago, which now has five compounding and grinding plants on three continents and employs more than 240 people.

Martin Coles, co-founder and CEO of Matrix Polymers, thanked its customers and suppliers with whom it has forged relationships and partnerships since 1992. Martin said: “I want to give massive thanks to all our loyal customers, especially those who supported us from the start and are still doing business with us today.

“I would also like to express my appreciation to all our employees, both current and all former ones, who have made this journey possible. We have been extremely fortunate to have such fine, hardworking, and dedicated people.”

“I’d also like to show my gratitude to all our supplier partners, particularly the petrochemical companies that have supported and grown with us over these 30 years.”

Speaking of the secret to Matrix Polymers’ success, Martin added: “It’s being dedicated to one area and becoming experts in one field, which helps you create and support great products that people really want. I’ve also learnt that recruiting and retaining the best people is essential.”
