Leeds Plastic Engineering has now moved from its base at Playfair Road, Hunslet to a new commercial unit, with separate office space at Unit 19, Enterprise Park Industrial Estate, Beeston, Leeds.

The relocation comes as a result of the company’s phenomenal growth over the past few years.  The company, which began life less than 3 years ago, has seen the workforce increase from just one founding member to 5 employees. In turn, this has seen the turnover expand significantly with a big increase in the number of regular clients.

Founding Director, Gareth Baker comments:

“The relocation of our operation to Enterprise Park Industrial Estate is the culmination of an exciting year for us in 2017. We continued to go from strength to strength, in the past six months we have welcomed two new full time members of staff to the team and we recently completed our 1000th job, a significant milestone for any new business.

“The move is down to many factors but increasingly we have been winning a large amount of business both from within our Yorkshire base and on a national level. Quite simply, we’ve outgrown our existing premises and switching our expanding operation to larger warehousing facilities, with separate office space means the company can progress with its positive business plans for further growth and development.

“This move is the latest in the ongoing re-shaping of our business.  We have already invested significantly in the latest CNC machinery, state of the art CAD CAM software and modern tooling to enable us to provide our customers with top quality machined parts. Future plans include further investment and expansion of our plastic fabrication department and significant investment in IT, with a new state of the art ERP system which will further improve efficiency, costs and streamlining of our operations.”

Leeds Plastic Engineering are specialists in CNC machining and turning of all types of engineering plastic and non-ferrous materials.  The company prides itself both on the quality of output and reliability of service so is well placed to create long lasting partnerships.
