OMS LubriTek Limited, a well-established oil management service provider to the UK plastics industry, has been awarded a Sustainable Waste Management Certificate by Jonathan Roberts, Sales Executive at Slicker Recycling.
Slicker Recycling is the UK’s largest waste oil collector and a trusted leader in environmental and waste management services, delivering real value for the planet through sustainable solutions.
In 2025, OMS LubriTek were awarded the certification by Slicker Recycling after saving over 40,000kg of CO2 emissions, as all waste oil generated was returned to the circular economy. The partnerships were critical to both OMS LubriTek and its customers’ sustainability credentials.
The certification reflects OMS LubriTek’s focus on ensuring any waste oil generated is returned to the circular economy as part of an effective oil management programme. Through its partnership with Slicker Recycling, OMS LubriTek benefits from a comprehensive waste package covering contaminated waste, used oil, and dry or mixed recycling, with the collaboration helping to reduce emissions compared with alternative fuel processing methods.
OMS LubriTek also links this approach to the use of high-performance hydraulic oils integrated with its ongoing oil management services, supporting energy-efficient hydraulic systems, long oil life, and improved production efficiency versus traditional mineral-based hydraulic oils.
