Omya Performance Polymer Distribution Expands Elastollan® TPU Partnership with BASF

Omya Performance Polymer Distribution has been appointed as the mutually exclusive distribution partner for Elastollan® thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) as part of its long-standing partnership with BASF. Elastollan® TPU is currently distributed in the United Kingdom and Ireland through Distrupol, part of Omya Performance Polymer Distribution. The new agreement, effective July 1st, 2026, covers France, Switzerland, North Africa, Israel and the Middle East.
This expansion reflects the continued development of the partnership between Omya Performance Polymer Distribution and BASF. It supports Omya Performance Polymer Distribution’s strategy to strengthen its market presence and high-performance polymers portfolio offering across existing and newly added regions.
The new territories build on the existing successful Elastollan® TPU business in the United Kingdom and Ireland, managed through Distrupol. Customers in these countries have long relied on Elastollan® TPU solutions supported by strong local presence and technical expertise.
Elastollan®, BASF’s flagship TPU brand, is known for its outstanding toughness, durability and processing versatility. Its performance makes it a material of choice for automotive components, industrial parts, consumer goods, electrical applications and many other demanding sectors.
