Pentagon Plastics Achieves ISO9001:2015 Accreditation

Pentagon Plastics are thrilled to announce that they have successfully up issued their ISO9001 quality standard accreditation to the new 2015 standards.

The external audit conducted by Intertek also incorporated the extension of the scope to include the mould tooling and post moulding services.

The scope of accreditation now covers the injection moulding of thermoplastic materials and supporting services, including the manufacture and ongoing support of mould tooling.

The new standard requires a business to demonstrate the ability to consistently:

–  Provide products and service that meet the needs of the customer
–  Applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
–  The enhancement of customer satisfaction through effective application of the system

This includes process improvement and assurance of conformity to the customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

In the last year Pentagon have undertaken new training and recently invested in a new laser welder with the ALT 500 model from TLM.
