It has been three years since Pentagon first exhibited at Interplas, the UK’s leading plastics industry exhibition, and they are excited to be returning to this outstanding event in September 2017.
Interplas covers all of the manufacturing processes, technologies and services that are essential to the plastics sector. This highly anticipated event has seen demand rise to such a level that this year’s show has expanded into an additional hall at the Birmingham NEC. Interplas 2017 will now encompass Hall 4 as well as half of neighbouring Hall 3A, which represents a 23 percent increase in floor space and exhibitors over the previous show in 2014.
Gearing up for the upcoming event the team at Pentagon are looking forward to once again bringing their impressive scope of injection moulding services to the fore of those visiting. Pentagon provide bespoke technical injection moulding services to a wide range of industry sectors and those visiting the show in September will be able to see examples of Pentagon’s technical moulding capabilities, as well as some of their smaller mould tooling solutions.
Pentagon’s on-site services include design assistance, development, toolmaking, plastic injection moulding and post moulding operations. In June 2016 Pentagon acquired Phoenix Engineering, who specialise in the manufacture of complex multi-cavity tooling and also offer repair, modification, servicing and refurbishments of existing tooling. This has opened up the scope of UK based mould tool services offered by Pentagon as the two companies run side by side.
Pentagon is home to an impressive ten injection moulding presses ranging in press size from 22-280 tonne locking pressure, supporting customer production from very low volume up to medium volume runs, while achieving shot weights of 0.5grm through to 550 grms.
Pentagon Plastics has over 45 years’ experience in the Injection moulding industry, it’s no wonder they are experts in their field!
Come and meet the team at Interplas 2017 on September 26th, 27th & 28th on stand B8.
