Plastribution to Showcase New Initiatives at Interplas

In addition to building on their brand messages at this year’s Interplas, Plastribution will also be showcasing new initiatives, specifically aimed at promoting their expertise and creating added-value for their customers.

Earlier this year, Plastribution launched their ‘know-how hub’ – a new registration-based content library, which is accessed through their website – containing a collection of articles, insights, opinion pieces and market intelligence.  As visitors to the Plastribution stand will find out, the online library is highly intuitive, allowing users the ability to select their specific areas of interest so that relevant content can be matched to their preferences. The hub is updated frequently with new material.

Commenting on the resource, Plastribution’s Mike Boswell said: “The main benefit of the know-how hub is having the ability to provide subscribers with content to suit them. So rather than pushing out a magazine or e-newsletter with a collection of articles and insights in the hope that there will be something for everyone, we can now accurately tailor the content to suit individual subscribers, thus making the know-how element of our service more efficient.”

Another new idea from Plastribution is a supply chain solution to beat stock disruption, aimed at larger processors. The concept is based on giving processors the opportunity to secure their own buffer stock without the need to tie-up working capital. This inventory can then be made available to converters at short notice in bulk or other packing formats according to preference. Further details will be available on stand G12, Hall 4.

Visitors will also be able to pick up a copy of Plastribution’s ‘show edition know-how’ magazine at the show, together with the very latest UK polymer market updates via their popular monthly ‘Price know-how’ report.
