Enso Rings Launches Silicone Wedding Ring With SteriTouch® Protection
US-based fashion jewellery brand, Enso Rings, has introduced SteriTouch® antimicrobial technology into its latest collection of silicone wedding rings.
The new Rise™ collection is one of the few products within its industry to utilise antimicrobial technology and the first silicone ring to incorporate technology provided by Radical Materials brand, SteriTouch®. Manufactured at their on-site facility in Utah, Enso Rings produces the collection in two style variations, Standard and Thin, both of which are available in an array of colours and sizes, perfect for all occasions and lifestyles.
Ring avulsion or “degloving” is a severe injury in which a traditional metal ring becomes forcefully removed from the finger, stripping skin and sometimes muscle from the underlying tissue. This injury affects roughly 150,000 people per year and, in the worst cases, can result in the amputation of the affected digit. Unlike their metal counterparts, Enso Rings are made entirely from flexible silicone that helps to prevent these sometimes life-changing incidents. This makes them the perfect alternative for individuals working in labour-intensive roles or those with active lifestyles.
The introduction of SteriTouch® technology to the Rise™ collection has resulted in a wedding ring that reduces the presence of bacteria responsible for article degradation. Supplied as an antimicrobial paste specifically developed for Enso Rings by Radical Materials, SteriTouch® technology is incorporated into the silicone rings during the manufacturing process, ensuring even dispersion and effective protection against odours and staining for the lifetime of the product. Tested by independent UK laboratories using the ISO 22196 method, the Rise™ collection has been confirmed to reduce up to 99.99% of tested bacteria.
