Summit Systems Helps Manufacturers Achieve Plastic Net Zero
Summit Systems has returned to Interplas this year with a vast array of innovative concepts, including helping manufacturers become plastic net zero.
Summit Systems has been supplying ancillaries into the plastics industry for over 30 years and is now a market leader in the sector. At Interplas 2021, taking place 28-30 September 2021 at the NEC, Birmingham, the Summit Systems and Summit-R teams will be on stands BB10 and CC18 talking to manufacturers about how they can become plastic net zero through their plastic offsetting partnership with Seven Clean Seas and PGR Advisory.
Plastic offsetting is a mechanism for companies to achieve plastic neutrality. Companies can offset their plastic consumption (by weight) against the physical recovery or prevention of waste plastic from the natural environment.
Seven Clean Seas have developed the world’s first plastic offsetting service. They pull plastic directly out of the ocean. Through their work, they are creating permanent change in the top seven most polluted areas of the world.
Summit-R is the recycled material branch of the Summit Systems Group. The company supplies recycled raw materials and aims to get you the best solution for your scrap plastics. Their extensive network and contact base of UK end-users keeps your material in UK plastics manufacturing, with full traceability from collection to the end destination. They deal with a large range of polymers from PP to PA, ABS, and engineering grades.
This will be Summit Systems’ 11th appearance at Interplas; the company has exhibited at every Interplas show since Mike Jordan founded the company in 1989. The company will also be showcasing its latest central material handling systems, which utilise the latest technology to set up and calibrate automatically.
Additionally, Summit’s large range of ancillary equipment, from cooling to blending and drying, will be presented through a special display illusion. An illusionist will be demonstrating how the equipment works and the benefits it will bring to your plastic moulding business.
