Total Polymer Solutions is delighted to announce the appointment of Scott Guthrie as UK Sales Representative; a position created to support the company’s continued growth.
Founded in December 2002 by Ronan Kennedy and Eamonn Keane, Total Polymer Solutions supply thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs), PVC compounds, engineering materials and coloured additives and masterbatches to the UK and Irish plastics industry. The company has grown substantially since its establishment almost 20 years ago, with the addition of several new material suppliers and team members.
Total Polymer Solutions has expanded and strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Scott Guthrie. He has a background in customer service and will be a valuable addition to the business.
Total Polymer Solutions also represent Avient in the UK and Ireland and Scott will focus on growing the UK business for engineering compounds, TPEs and colour/additive masterbatches.
Commenting on the appointment, David Guthrie, UK Sales Manager, said: “It is a very exciting and challenging time for the plastics industry and we were pleased to see significant growth in 2021, which we expect to continue in 2022.
“Scott will be kept very busy developing new business in the focus areas for ourselves and Avient. The main growth areas continue to be in the medical and metal replacement sectors.”
