With almost 25 years of technical and commercial expertise in medical plastics engineering, VELOX GmbH has developed a unique approach to the requirements of the market that is currently meeting a growing demand.
Two of VELOX’ medical plastics experts will be present at FAKUMA 2017, to be held from 17 to 21 October in Friedrichshafen, Germany (booth 5001 in Hall B5). In addition to presenting its full range of thermoplastic polymer specialities VELOX will also be introducing a new player in the polyolefins market for pharmaceutical and medical applications.
“In the past years we have seen a growing demand for technical assistance and engineering support at our customers’ side who appreciate partners at eye-level working with them from a very early design stage”, says Anne-Kathrin Bartels, Product Manager Medical Plastics at VELOX. Therefore VELOX has been reinforcing its growing medical team with experienced engineers. “Our customers not only rely on high-quality and often very specialised materials but also require long-term and qualified technical support. Thanks to its profound know how of the specific materials, processings, applications as well as market developments, VELOX has developed an in-house expertise to meet these demands from a single source”, confirms Anja Floßbach, Mechanical Engineer and Business Development Manager, Plastics, at VELOX.
VELOX’ wide range of raw material specialities contains polymers and compounds for medical and pharmaceutical packaging, non-implantable and implantable medical devices, dental materials, orthopaedics, drug delivery systems, diagnostics as well as surgical equipment. Moreover, the company provides regulatory support, documentation and comprehensive after-sales support. VELOX boasts partners as Trinseo, IPC, Arkema, Lubrizol and Topas and will be presenting a new player in the polyolefins market for pharmaceutical and medical applications at FAKUMA.
“We are looking forward to the many encounters and professional exchange with new and existing customers as well as the interested public at our booth 5001 in Hall B5”, says Bartels.
