Technical and engineering recruitment specialist Willcox Matthews is delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the category ‘Micro Business of the Year 2021’ in the Chamber Business Awards. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Worcester Arena in September.
This award celebrates micro businesses for going above and beyond, for companies with 10 staff or less. Judges will be looking for businesses that have demonstrated strong revenue growth and a product or service of a quality that stands above competitors.
Over the new few weeks, the judges will interview the directors at Willcox Matthews, and the winners will be announced on the night of the awards on Thursday, 2 September, at the Worcester Arena. The awards will be hosted by the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce.

“Being nominated for this award has been a massive honour for our company, as we have only been running for three years in August 2021. We pride ourselves in going that extra mile for our clients and our customers, so for us to have been noticed and made it to the finalist is a brilliant achievement!
“We have gone from a team of three to a team of five with plans to hire three more employees before the end of the year! Our business is coming on leaps and bounds, far exceeding targets that we had set ourselves this year.
