Chinese Delegation Meets AMUT Technology for Geomembranes

On the 3rd of November, AMUT GROUP hosted in its headquarter in Novara, Italy, a delegation consisting of top Chinese producers of Waterproofing Membranes in Bitumen and Polymers, with the intention to present the latest extrusion technologies in this field. AMUT GROUP is already worldwide leader, with few installations also in the Chinese territory.

Mr Dongqing Zhu and Ms Anna Zhang, respectively CEO and International Business Department Manager of the China National Building Waterproof Association with the support of Mr Frette Shen, AMUT Group Chinese Representative and Mr Andrea Peretto, AMUT Sales Manager in charge of South-East Asian countries, are the people responsible for having created such a great occasion to set up new partnerships.

AMUT GROUP got in contact with the China National Building Waterproof Association participating to China International Roofing and Waterproofing Expo, an event mainly visited by professionals engaged in waterproofing industry. Last year, AMUT Group closed a prestigious deal with a Chinese Public Listed Company to supply a complete turn-key project in order to produce 8 million metric squares of membrane in TPO between AMUT Group and China.

The schedule of the day included a visit to an Italian company to view a reference extrusion line – AMUT branded – producing PVC and TPO membranes, followed by a welcome buffet at AMUT premises. Angelo Milani, Sales Manager of the Group, made a technical presentation of the machines and technologies, also illustrating the possible application fields and the wide opportunities offered by the market. Mr Piergianni Milani, President of the Group, accompanied the delegation for a complete tour of AMUT factory. The visitors had the chance to see different lines in construction and experience all the works carried out internally.
