HASCO Expands SolidWorks Native Library to Optimise Design Efficiency

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

HASCO has announced the immediate availability of its extended SolidWorks native library, offering tool and mould-makers a more efficient and future-proof platform for product development. By significantly increasing the variety of available components and introducing intelligent functions, the updated database supports both prototype development and the design of mass-produced components directly within the SolidWorks environment.

The update includes a significant increase in component variety with a range of new additions, covering guide elements, ejectors, measuring technology, and cooling systems, as well as specialist components for demoulding and casting. This expansion ensures that users have access to a more comprehensive selection of immediately usable CAD parts for diverse applications.

To further streamline the manufacturing process, many of the new and modified components now feature integrated take-off heads. These additions are designed to reduce post-finishing work and enhance performance during the CAD process. To maintain maximum design freedom, these take-off heads are available in both “minimum material abrasion” and “mid-tolerance” versions, allowing for precise customisation based on the specific requirements of the mould.

This comprehensive update to the SolidWorks native library provides a high-performance foundation for designers, offering more freedom and simplified workflows throughout the mould-making process.
