Progressive Components Expands Ejector Pin Offering With New Stainless Steel Range

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Progressive Components has expanded its ejector pin offering with a new range of high-performance, tight-tolerance stainless steel ejector pins. The precision ejector pins are especially suited to medical and cleanroom environments, as well as applications involving PVC and other corrosive materials.

Manufactured from 440C stainless steel, the ejector pins are heat-treated to 55–60 HRC to provide an optimal balance of high hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance.

The range is available in a standard straight style, with diameters from 1/8in to 3/4in and lengths from 3in to 18in. Progressive Components also offers what it describes as an industry-exclusive shoulder style. These ejector pins are available in diameters from 1/32in to 7/64in, with a choice of 1/2in, 2in or 3in shoulders and overall lengths of 6in or 10in.

Alternative configurations include keyed, cut-to-length and Black Nitride ejector pins, alongside custom made-to-order options.

Progressive Components is a 100% employee-owned developer and distributor serving the production tooling industry. Its wider product range includes standard and proprietary mould components, mould-monitoring devices and software, and products developed to improve mould maintenance.
